According to a fascinating presentation by Dr. Jaffe, you can measure or predict longevity and quality of your health with the help of 8 biomarkers.

These interesting predictive biomarkers are intended to guide individualized therapeutic management, optimize your epigenetics, fine tune your diet and initiate restorative healing. Read on to learn how these 8 biomarkers can guide your healthy lifestyle and consider asking your healthcare provider for these 8 insightful tests:

1. Plasma Homocysteine (HCy):

This predictor is essential for cardiovascular health, the repair of blood vessels, and methylation. Ideally, it should not exceed 6. You can lower your homocysteine levels by consuming eggs, sprouts, broccoli, onions, ginger, garlic, and other sources of vitamin B12, methyl B12, and methyl folate.

2. First Urination pH Test:

Yes, that pressing call to the washrooms every morning is an important predictive biomarker. The test measures the cellular acidosis and mineral status of your first morning urination. Dr. Jaffe suggests that optimal urine pH lies anywhere between 6.5 and 7.5. If it drops and your urine is even slightly acidic, your cells are depleted of their energy. The alkalinity of urine is facilitated by minerals such as potassium and magnesium.

3. High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP):

The HsCRP predictive biomarker measures the repair and inflammation deficit. It’s also referred to as an all-cause morbidity indicator. The recommended range of the High Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein is 0.5 or lower. Dr. Jaffe also emphasizes the importance of a vitamin C cleanse – this can be done by measuring vitamin C to Bowel Tolerance levels.

4. Vitamin D Test:

Did you know that vitamin D (25-HydroxyD) is a neurohormone that facilitates cellular communication and even mitigates cellular mutations that lead to cancer? Measuring and regulating its levels is a crucial biomarker of your health. Optimal levels range from 50 ng/mi to 80 ng/ml.

5. Hemoglobin A1C:

This test basically measures carbohydrate metabolism, blood sugar, and insulin levels. Dr. Jaffe suggests it should not exceed 5%.

6. Lymphocyte and Immune Response Test:

The lymphocyte response test is similar to an Antigen Leukocyte Antibody Test (ALCAT), but with some parameter improvements. It attempts to answer: How many compounds can your body tolerate without adversely affecting your performance, cognition, mood, sleep, and digestion? Specifically, the test measures T cell direct activation, immune complexes, and reactive antibodies (lgG, lgM, and lgA). The idea is to ensure you’re tolerant with minimal delayed sensitivity reactions.

7. Omega-3: Omega-6 Index:

According to Dr. Jaffe, the Omega-3 index should not exceed the 8% mark. How do you achieve this optimal balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6? Start by avoiding edible oils that are rich in Omega-6 – instead, consume fish oils that are high in Omega-3.

8-Oxo-Guanine Measures:

This test measures the level of oxidative stress/damage in your cells and DNA. Free radicals that promote oxidative damage include pesticides, radiation, and hormone disruptors, to name a few. If this predictive biomarker shows that your 8-oxo-guanine levels are high, consider the consumption of foods high in antioxidants such as spinach, raspberries, beans, and cabbages.

As highlighted above, each predictive marker analyzes a specific aspect of human systems and physiology. However, they are all interdependent, and you cannot rely on just one biomarker to guide your lifestyle habits. Collectively, the 8 biomarkers advocated by Dr. Jaffe can help reduce health risks while identifying health resilience.

If you are interested to learn more about your ‘inner workings’, you can request these tests via your healthcare provider. It is also possible to order tests directly online.

😳 What Tinnitus Does To Your Brain Cells (And How To Stop It)

After 47 years of studies and countless brain scans done on more than 2,400 tinnitus patients, scientists at the MIT Institute found that in a shocking 96% of cases, tinnitus was actually shrinking their brain cells.

As it turns out, tinnitus and brain health are strongly linked.

Is because they are using something called "the wire method", a simple protocol inspired by a classified surgery on deaf people from the 1950s...
