We found a great page listing Home Remedies For Congestion and had to share! There are some great recipes here including one which caught my eye, a fiery “Tomato Tea” which actually seems really delicious and I might have to make it even though I don’t actually have a sore throat! Its full of great ingredients – vegetable juice, garlic, lemon and hot sauce.
I was quite amused by the call for ‘hot sauce, the more the better… as much as you can handle’. I’m kind of a softie when it comes to hot sauce but that’s ok you can make it the strength you want it. I also like the fact that there are a list of alternative ingredients given in case you don’t have what you want to hand… nice touch.
Another thing I found really interesting was the inclusion of a list of foods for congestion, plus a list of mucus-forming foods to avoid.
