We discovered a great list of herbs that improve memory, courtesy of your friends over at Nature Hacks.
In the ancient tradition of herbalism, there are numerous reports from the old writers of herbs having beneficial effects on memory. Gingko Biloba is an herb that has been noted for memory enhancement since old times. The mechanism of action in this case is interesting; Gingko has been shown to enhance blood flow to the brain, which explains how it can improve mental function. It has been given the nickname “Memory Tree” since old times.
