This is an amazing, fun recipe that the kids (and adults) will be sure to love! Not only that, but it’s super healthy as well! The recipe uses all pure natural ingredients and no sugar.
The energy bars evidently provide a real energy boost – as the author of the recipe even recommends not to eat them in the evening, because they will give too much energy and may even hinder sleep!
My immediate thought was that these would make a perfect energy snack to take on a road trip. Not only will you probably save money but you get to avoid buying gas station snacks – which are, shall we say, not exactly famous for their nutritional content…. π
You could even add other ingredients if you’re feeling experimental – why not goji berries, nuts, seeds such as sunflower or sesame… or even a touch of peppermint essence? Go for it!

I’m not an expert but we refuse to eat sweeteners of any kind so I have been experimenting with Agave nectar & honey in place of sugar. Made an apple pie with unsweetened apple juice & agave & it was better than usual even.
Any Food especially chocolate that is sugar free is my friend. Me and Cancer are not Friends and know that loves sugar.
