Have you ever had digestive issues while in the USA that disappear when you are in Europe?

I’ll summarize by highlighting the part that will shock you: Common wheat harvesting protocol in the United States is to drench the wheat fields with ROUNDUP just DAYS before the combine harvesters work the fields – as the practice allows for an earlier, easier and bigger harvest.

Did you know about this? Yes – roundup (a herbicide) is being used to deliberately KILL the wheat just before the harvest. This improves the yield for the farmers.

And then you eat it. This wheat, that has recently been drenched with… herbicide.

It turns out that glyphosate (roundup) is highly toxic to the beneficial bacteria in the stomach, interfering with their ability to do their job. Links to the science behind this are in the report also.

One of the things that convinced me of the veracity of this report was that I experienced all kinds of belly problems over the past few years in the USA and it was making me crazy trying to figure out what it was. Finally, I switched to a certain brand of organic bread and noticed that the belly problems subsided a lot. Then, I commenced a daily regimen of probiotics. Now, I hardly get the belly problems at all – but I have to be careful what I eat.
