As you will know if you have been following this blog, we’re big fans not only of herbalism but of simple ways to make your own home products using readily available ingredients. If you can save money, all the while doing something “less chemical” – that’s a great thing in my book.
Just found another great DIY tutorial – how to make your own “natural” window cleaner. I put “natural” in inverted commas because one of the ingredients (rubbing alcohol) is not exactly natural – however the rest of the ingredients are – and this recipe does avoid many dubious chemicals that are typically found in other formulations.
It’s also really inexpensive – around 50 cents per bottle!
Looking at the ingredients, I am sure this will work well on general window grime. But I’m curious to know if it will work on hard water spots.
