Here’s a great list of 60 herbs that we discovered over at our friends Nature Hacks.
The list contains 60 of the most popular, well-known herbs and a quick summary of each of their uses. It’s a perfect guide that you might want to bookmark or print out and keep somewhere handy so that you can use it as a quick reference.
There are thousands of herbs altogether, though most people use but a handful of these on a regular basis. What’s interesting is that there are many “forgotten” herbs that have long been held to have remarkable nutritional or healing benefits, often being popular for hundreds of years. Some of these have simply fallen out of common use in both kitchen and medicine cabinet, or are widely used in one part of the world but relatively obscure in another.
One thing I will say about nature hacks list is that although the information is great, there are many more wonders and uses for each of the herbs than the ones given.
