Studies have shown that TURMERIC and its bioactive compound, CURCUMIN, can…

1. Support healthy cholesterol levels by helping lower LDL or bad cholesterol. It has anti-inflammatory properties, which fights high cholesterol brought about by oxidative stress.

2. Suppress thrombosis and myocardial infarction

3. Suppress symptoms associated with type 2 diabetes. Curcumin may aid in the fight against diabetes and related conditions. Curcumin’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties may fight contributing factors of diabetes like high blood sugar and insulin resistance.

4. Suppress symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. RA is an inflammatory disorder that not only affects joints but may spread to other body parts such as the skin, heart and lungs. This can eventually lead to physical disability.

5. Suppress symptoms of multiple sclerosis

6. Protect against radiation-induced damage & metal toxicity. Curcumin is said to have DNA-protective, anti-oxidant and enzyme-inducing effects.

7. Reduce systemic inflammation in obese individuals in addition to positively influencing weight management. Its anti-inflammatory properties aid in fighting obesity by reducing the growth of fat cells.

8. Enhance wound healing through its DNA-protective properties.

9. Protect against liver damage

10. Protect against cataracts. Cataracts and other degenerative eye conditions can ultimately lead to blindness. While this is irreversible, a 2018 study shows that curcumin based remedies can help fight against this gradual degeneration, with preliminary results being very promising. [1]
