If you’re the type who’s not fond of artificial scents on everything, then this is just right for you! We have here an amazing discovery that will make your place smell delicious and inviting. And take note! They don’t contain any chemical substances. Instead, they are made from pure natural ingredients like herb and fruit extracts that create will create a fragrant aroma throughout the vicinity.

The tutorial includes 5 amazing recipes:

The perfect blend of oranges, cloves and cinnamon diffuses a wonderful aroma that stays longer. You will also enjoy the lovely freshness of lemon extract infused with vanilla and rosemary oils. You can try mixing mint, vanilla, thyme and lime for a different aroma. You can opt out of mint but if you want a very pleasant and fresh aroma with a kick, then mint would definitely make a wonderful constituent.

Our fourth recipe would include the harmonious, sweet, and delicious blend of almond extract, ginger and orange. Finally, a mixture of cedar twigs, pines, nutmeg and bay leaves would also concoct a wonderful scent that will definitely make your day.

Undeniably, artificial room fresheners are widely available today. Unfortunately, some recent research shows that many of the chemical ingredients may be capable of inflicting adverse effects to the body. Harsh environmental conditions and toxins are now considered to be major factors that may potentially trigger the onset of certain types of diseases – and indoor air pollution is now actually considered by the EPA to be one of the major hazards to public health. The problem occurs when our homes, which we consider as our comfort zones, are both better insulated than ever while simultaneously containing a higher presence of synthetic products.

DIY natural room scents come very handy and make wonderful alternatives. Furthermore, several of the ingredients used to make these natural room scents are widely used in aromatherapy to promote better sleep and better mood, as well as in reducing stress, fatigue, lethargy and anxiety.

What are you waiting for? Make your own natural room scents now, and enjoy freshness and sweet fragrance without the need of artificial ingredients.

Thank you for this great idea! Are the glasses with the ingridients finally filled with water?

I have been making simmering spices as Christmas gifts for years, but mine are all dried, packaged in little cellophane bags. I used dried orange peel (the Clementine oranges peel easily and their thin skins laid out on a simple paper towel dry in a couple of days), and purchase cinnamon sticks, whole cloves and star anise in bulk. I attach a little instruction to summer in a couple of cups of water on the stovetop. So, no water or jars are needed with my gift. Everyone seems to love the simplicity of it and the fragrance is perfect for the holidays! I’m looking forward to using some of the combinations in this article found in my herb garden next summer!
