This is a great formula we just discovered for a homemade pain relieving cream. It uses coconut oil and beeswax as the base, and essential oils plus camphor and menthol as the active components. What’s interesting is that Jillee, the creator of this formula, has a son who has constant pain due to spinal trouble and so she really has had the chance to put the cream to the test.

One tip we would definitely suggest is to read the comments on the original article. A good comment section such as this one becomes a kind of “living report”: Whenever I want to find out whether something really works, I just check the comments. People will have no qualms about calling something out if they don’t think it’s any good! Comment and review sections are one of the most democratic, honest things we have in my opinion. Anyway I digress… in Jillee’s comments there are numerous other useful suggestions for pain relieving herbs and essential oils in there. Several people are suggesting clove oil.

For those wanting to research this worthy subject in even greater depth – we have also created a couple of pages on the subject of natural pain relief that you might also be interested in, these contain many other suggestions:

    Hey Jill
I was also diagnosed with celiac disease 29 years ago. Since then I have developed an amazing recipe for GF Pitas, and Pizza crusts. I tried going into business a couple of years ago and with great sucess, (I think) but I was working as a PSW at the same time and I fell down the stairs and hurt my back which is getting continually worse. We had to close our business in April b/c I cannot do that much dough rolling anymore. I just tell you this because We would dearly love someone to lease our recipe and continue making this amazing product. If you know of anyone looking for a business that would definitely be sucessful. Please let us know. I just love your products and skill in your area. Thank you for what you are doing. I am sorry for your son too, that he has to deal with so many things. Barb

THANK YOU!! I have had 2 back surgeries and they are pushing for me to have one more. I’m in CONSTANT pain!!! I refuse to increase my meds for fear of addiction. So I’ve been on the hunt for natural pain relief. I will be making this. I’ve read about cyanne peppers being helpful. Have you heard this or do you know of a recipe that I could add the oil from the peppers or even powder?? Thanks again!

I am reading a book by Hulda Regyer Clark because i have been ill with lymes disease and stomach and digestive issues. In her book she suggests cleanses that have so far helped me tremendously. i have more energy now than i did 5 years ago and i am still in the process of doing the cleanses. check her out on youtube. and i don’t know if i spelled her middle name right but its worth doing

My best pain relieving cream is made with St. John’s Wort–which has a number of valuable properties in addition.Aside from being a Nervine and anti-inflammatory it is also antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal. I no longer get diabetic foot infections. And it works very well on sciatica..

There are so many causes of back pain, that it’s hard to find a cure- all for it.
Dorsiflex the ankles by pulling your toes up and back towards you while pushing your
heels down. Heavy lifting is one of the most common causes of muscle strain or
    sprain of back muscles.

i think here in my country where there are lots of “old school” people where one doesn’t pops pain reliever all the time. whenever i experienced body aches & pains, i used one with the same ingredients, sold here in little jars, and it works but needs to be reapplied to maximize the effects..
